Energy Manager V5.2 in Action

A large manufacturing plant installed EFT Energy Manager V5.2 to monitor all their utilities including electrical, gas, water and nitrogen. Their main focus was to get a handle on their energy consumption across the plant and to allocate those charges to the relevant departments. In order to do this they metered their compressors, clean rooms, lighting boards, chillers, offices and other areas. Each department had access to its relevant meters across the intranet giving them the ability to manage their consumption and achieve the budgets that were set by management. Each department had its own reports and alarms to help them achieve this. Below is an example of how in 3 clicks, the user identified a compressor air leak which had caused him to overrun his budget. Subsequent to this an alarm was setup to monitor compressor loads to trigger an alert once the preset base load is breached.

Energy Manager V5.2 generates an automatic Monthly Budget Report for the user. It shows that the compressors are running over budget.
